As I made my way home from Mammoth Lakes, the sun setting behind me, I took another turn on the winding road. My mind was consumed with thoughts of warm fireplaces and cozy blankets when suddenly, my eyes were met with a spectacle that stole my breath away.
A roadside winter wonderland had materialized before me, bursting with untouched beauty and inviting stillness. Without hesitation, I crossed over the double solids and parked on the other side.
